Job summary

The Summit Foundation, a DC-based private family foundation, seeks a Program Associate for the Equality for Women and Girls program. The role supports the Program Director, handles grant coordination, reporting, and stakeholder engagement to advance gender equality initiatives in Central America and beyond.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field and two years of relevant non-profit work experience, or equivalent training and experience in the non-profit sector.
• Experience in Central/Latin America and/or EWG program focus preferred.
• Fluent Spanish a plus; strong Spanish language ability required.

Responsibilities

• Support grantmaking process and interact with current or prospective grantees.
• Maintain the EWG grants calendar and pipeline and track the grantmaking budget.
• Prepare grant materials for internal review and ensure timely completion of documents.
• Review grantee reports and assess progress.
• Identify opportunities to increase program leverage or impact.
• Organize and maintain program files and ensure compliance with retention policies.
