Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• PE license in Washington or ability to obtain.
• 5+ years designing stream restoration, river engineering, fish passage, or hydraulic projects.
• Experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software (HEC-RAS, SRH-2D, HY-8).

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, analysis, and design of stream restoration and river engineering projects.
• Develop hydraulic and hydrologic analyses for stream crossings, culverts, bridges, and restoration projects.
• Design natural channel systems, stream grading, bank stabilization, and habitat features.
• Prepare designs using large woody material, engineered log jams, and natural infrastructure.
• Perform scour and sediment transport analyses and floodplain evaluations.
• Coordinate permitting requirements with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare engineering reports, construction plans, and cost estimates.
• Serve as Engineer of Record for restoration and hydraulic design projects.
