Job summary

Crowe is seeking a Senior Consultant in the Performance Improvement group within Transaction Advisory. You will lead operational improvement initiatives, analyze EBITDA impacts, and collaborate with portfolio company teams to implement value‑creation opportunities.

Expect client‑facing work with private equity and corporate leaders, traveling weekly and delivering executive‑level deliverables. A strong background in lean, six sigma, and data analysis is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a relevant field is required; Master’s degree is advantageous
• Minimum of two (2) years of total relevant experience in operations management, including lean/continuous improvement, footprint optimization, supply chain, SIOP
• Previous experience with Private Equity clients/firms (M&A deals), especially in Manufacturing & Distribution is a plus
• Advanced analytical skills with high proficiency in MS Excel is required (Power BI or Tableau experience is a plus)
• Must be willing to travel Sunday evening to Thursday evening, weekly
• Experience with leading cross-functional collaboration with project teams and stakeholders
• Ability to complete detailed assessments of manufacturing and distribution operations and implement improvements for productivity increase and operating cost reduction
• Ability to creatively solve problems and analyze client data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with executives and stakeholders
• Ability to build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment
• Ability to interact with internal management and external client contacts using leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Engage with private equity firms and corporate leaders to analyze and execute value‑creation strategies and operational improvement initiatives
• Work in a client‑facing role, engage with client teams to uncover synergy and functional area solutions; execute deal strategies and performance improvement
• Utilize a holistic approach to identify business improvement opportunities, develop solutions, manage initiatives, and identify the resources and various disciplines needed to execute the process
• Communicate professionally, including creating executive‑level deliverables to support client decision‑makers
• Deliver results in a highly visible role on‑site at our clients, across the U.S. and possibly internationally
• Leverage the flexibility of Lean, Six Sigma, and Performance Improvement tools to enhance productivity
• Highly adaptable, assertive, and open to new challenges in a fast‑paced environment. This person will have significant independence to define and deliver the work required to make our clients successful.
