Job summary

Fazeshift, a Boston-based AI-finance platform, seeks a Private Equity Partnerships Associate to scale the sponsor channel. You will identify sponsor opportunities, build a compelling investment thesis, and engage CFOs and operating partners to drive value creation.

You will work closely with the Head of Private Equity Partnerships & Investor Relations to generate new pipeline, manage PE relationships, and translate research into actionable opportunities within portfolio companies.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, consulting, transaction services, or another analytical and client-facing environment.
• Ability to discuss working capital, cash flow, operating leverage, and value creation with investors or CFOs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-facing orientation.

Responsibilities

• Generate PE-sourced pipeline: sponsor outreach, portfolio activation, events, and targeted outreach.
• Map and prioritize sponsor portfolios to identify where Fazeshift creates measurable impact.
• Open new sponsor relationships with operating partners, portfolio leaders, and CFOs.
• Activate existing relationships and identify next portfolio companies to engage.
• Own outbound outreach with reasoned, tailored messaging to sponsors/portfolio companies.
• Prepare and lead sponsor and portfolio company meetings and discovery.
• Build value creation cases translating outcomes and financial data for sponsors.
• Turn events into pipeline through conferences, dinners, webinars, etc.
• Develop a scalable PE engine for research, targeting, and process improvement.
• Maintain sponsor/portfolio records, pipeline attribution, and activity history in HubSpot.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to move opportunities.
