Job summary

VeeRteq Solutions Inc. is seeking a Public Works Flood Control Project Manager to lead a suite of water resources projects in the Phoenix area. The role emphasizes client development, leadership, and technical excellence in hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and flood control design.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, preparing design reports, and guiding the production of construction documents, with a focus on quality control across 1D/2D models and FEMA-related studies.

Qualifications

• PE license in AZ (professional engineer)
• CFM certification required or within six months
• BS in Civil Engineering
• Experience in marketing, business development with track record of winning projects
• On-site work in Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities

• Lead activities to meet client expectations and oversee project development.
• Mentor staff and review engineering calculations and reports.
• Oversee preparation of construction documents and design outputs; ensure QC of models and floodplain analyses.
• Direct water resources projects including FLO-2D modeling, floodplain mapping, and hydraulic designs.
