Job summary

Metromont Bartow is looking for a Civil/Structural engineer with PE to design and review precast concrete systems. You will coordinate with drafters, project managers, and production to ensure compliant, cost-effective solutions.

Required are a BS in Civil Engineering, PE, and 3–7 years of experience with precast knowledge preferred. This office-based role follows a 8am–5pm schedule, with plant exposure as needed.

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering required; structural emphasis preferred.
• PE Certification required.
• 3–7 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Previous precast knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and details for products and connections.
• Independently manage design aspects of projects with minimal guidance.
• Review contract documents to understand project requirements.
• Attend project meetings and lead coordination meetings when needed.
• Write and review RFIs and resolve design issues independently.
• Ensure drawings and shop tickets comply with Metromont standards.
