Job summary

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering with structural emphasis preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
• 3–7 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Prior precast knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and details for products and connections.
• Independently manage design aspects of projects with minimal guidance.
• Review contract documents to understand project requirements.
• Attend project meetings; may lead coordination meetings.
• Write and review RFIs and resolve design issues.
• Review erection drawings and shop tickets for conformance.
• Visit production area to stay aware of processes.
• Assist others and coordinate with project team and vendors.
