Job summary

Green Key Resources is partnering with a private equity-backed, high-growth services organization in the Dallas area to identify an experienced Chief Financial Officer. The role demands hands-on leadership of accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, financial reporting, systems, M&A support and post-acquisition integration.

The CFO will report to the CEO and build scalable finance processes, drive value creation, and guide a high-performing team across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Senior finance leadership at CFO/VP Finance level.
• Experience as a senior finance leader within a PE-backed portfolio.
• Direct engagement with PE sponsors, boards, and lenders.
• Track record scaling lower-middle-market growth via organic growth and/or M&A.
• Experience in multi-location services (construction/field services preferred).
• Deep GAAP knowledge, job costing, POC, treasury and cash flow management.
• ERP implementations or major financial systems upgrades.
• Combines strategic leadership with a hands-on operating style.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close and three-statement financial reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, working capital and KPI reporting.
• Prepare board, lender and PE sponsor reporting.
• Manage covenants, banking relationships and liquidity.
• Build scalable financial processes, controls and reporting infrastructure.
• Oversee job costing and percent-of-completion accounting.
• Partner with operations on margins, pricing, profitability and performance.
• Support M&A diligence and lead financial integration of acquisitions.
• Drive ERP, systems and technology improvements.
• Build, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.
