Job summary

Vets Hired in San Diego, CA seeks an Admissions Manager to lead admissions operations and serve as the Principal Designated School Official (PDSO). You will oversee SEVIS compliance, issue Form I-20s, and ensure timely processing of applications, transfers, and enrollments.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency as required for the PDSO.
Bachelor's degree.
At least 3 years of higher education admissions experience.
At least 3 years as a PDSO at an SEVP-certified institution; DSO-only experience not eligible.
Strong knowledge of F-1 regulations, SEVIS, SEVP policies, and Form I-20 issuance.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, student information systems, and CRM platforms.
Strong written and verbal communication; attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Oversee SEVIS compliance and Form I-20 issuance as PDSO.
Review applications, assess credentials and English proficiency, issue admission decisions.
Prepare enrollment agreements and maintain student records in SIS.
Lead orientations covering immigration requirements.
Audit processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with registrar, recruitment, finance and other teams.
Protect FERPA privacy and assist with audits.
