Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking Private Duty Nurses (RN or LPN) to provide one-on-one, in-home care across a range of ages from pediatric to geriatric. Nurses will deliver personalized care, monitor conditions, administer treatments, and educate families in a home setting.

Flexible full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules with day, night, and weekend options. Training, supportive supervision, and opportunities for overtime are available.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license (state-specific).
• Experience in private duty/home health/pediatric or critical care preferred.
• Comfort with hands-on patient care and long-duration shifts.

Responsibilities

Provide Personalized Care Where It Matters Most

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurses (RNs or LPNs) to deliver one-on-one, individualized care in the home setting. This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a comfortable environment.

Overview

• Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN
• Schedule: Flexible shifts (day, night, weekend options available)
• Setting: Patient’s home
• Patient Population: Pediatric to Geriatric
• Care Type: One-on-one continuous care

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized nursing care tailored to each patient
• Monitor patient condition and report changes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assist with activities of daily living (as appropriate)
• Skilled care may include:
  • Tracheostomy (trach) care
  • Ventilator support (if applicable)
  • Feeding tubes and nutritional support
  • Wound care
  • Diabetic management
• Educate patients and families on care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
