Job summary

Suburban Automotive Service in Warren, MI is seeking a PDI/LPO Technician to complete Pre-Delivery Inspections on new vehicles and install dealer-installed (LPO) parts as needed. You will check for damage, fill fluids, drive vehicles through the car wash, and assist with warranty campaigns.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be mechanically inclined and own tools and/or willing to purchase tools.
Must have familiarity with re-flashing modules and calibrations.
Must have exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
Must be a reliable team player.
Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections following the PDI checklist.
Install dealer-installed (LPO) parts following provided instructions.
Check vehicle for damage, missing parts, etc.
Fill vehicles with fuel and other necessary fluids.
Drive vehicles through the car wash.
Complete warranty campaigns as required.
