Brown University Health is seeking a Per Diem Transporter to move patients and related materials across The Miriam Hospital campus. Responsibilities include wheelchair, bed, or stretcher transport and assisting clinical staff with patient transfers.
The role requires strong English communication, basic education, and reliable adherence to safety and PPE protocols. On-the-job training will be provided in a healthcare environment with varied shifts.
Under general supervision of Central Transport Manager transports patients and patient related materials throughout the hospital campus. Works primarily in outpatient clinical areas, such as the Fain Health Center (FHC). All essential functions performed in this position reflect the age specific needs of the patients.
