First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts. You’ll choose shifts and enjoy flexible scheduling with daily and weekly pay options. A Virginia RN license and current BLS/ACLS are required, with opportunities to work in multiple Hampton Roads facilities.

Per diem status means you can pick up shifts as little as one per month or build a fuller schedule. Competitive per diem pay and easy mobile scheduling empower you to manage your time.

Qualifikationen

• Active Virginia RN license
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS
• Current AHA ACLS
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments
