First Choice Nurses is seeking PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia. Enjoy flexible scheduling and the freedom to pick up shifts that fit your life. Competitive per diem pay and options for daily or weekly pay are available, with hospital-based opportunities and a locally owned staffing team.

This role requires active Virginia RN license, 2 years PCU experience in the last 4 years, and current BLS/ACLS and TB test. Vaccination or approved exemption is required.

Formación

• Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and care teams.
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.

Educación

Virginia RN License

2 years PCU nursing experience (past 4 years)

AHA BLS

AHA ACLS

QuantiFERON-TB Gold test past 12 months

COVID-19 vaccination or exemption
