First Choice Nurses is hiring PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia, offering the freedom to choose schedules that fit your life. Per diem pay is competitive with the flexibility to work 7a-7p or 7p-7a shifts.

RNs must hold Virginia license and meet core credentials such as BLS/ACLS and required TB test within the past year. Daily or weekly pay options are available, and there are hospital-based opportunities with a responsive local team.

Qualificações

• Active Virginia RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS.
• Current AHA ACLS.
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
