Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, nights, on-site position in Great Falls, Montana. The PCU focuses on stepdown medical-surgical care with favorable nurse-to-patient ratios.

The role requires ADN with Montana RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and recent PCU/ICU experience. The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe patient discharge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Active Montana RN licensure (or eligibility to obtain).
• Core certifications BLS, ACLS, and PALS; TNCC/EPNC preferred.
• Post-graduate practice in an advanced Med/Surg unit with recent PCU/ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized direct nursing care to PCU patients.
• Manage a diverse patient population including post-procedure care.
• Monitor for deterioration using telemetry and vitals.
• Operate arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, and ventilatory support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge.
• Serve as a clinical leader and assist with precepting staff.
