Job summary
Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a PCU RN to provide direct, patient-centered care within the RN Practice Act. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, assess care needs, and ensure safe patient care in a dynamic unit.
The role requires TN nursing licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and preferably 1 year of experience. Parkridge offers a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive work environment.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse from accredited school of nursing.
- Current Licensure with TN Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- One year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess plans and evaluate patient care needs and carry out physician orders.
- Administer prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, monitor vital signs.
- Monitor, record and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
- Instruct and educate patients and families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.
