Job summary

First Choice Nurses is seeking PCU RNs in Virginia to take control of your schedule with 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts. Per diem opportunities offer flexible, local assignments, daily or weekly pay, and hospital-based roles with a responsive staffing team.

Requirements include an active Virginia RN license, at least two years of recent PCU nursing experience, and current BLS/ACLS. Vaccination or approved exemption is needed. Pick up shifts that fit your life and start earning today.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
