Job summary

First Choice Nurses in the United States are seeking a PCU RN for per diem shifts. RNs can choose schedules with 7a-7p or 7p-7a, and enjoy flexible work arrangements with daily or weekly pay options. Take control of your schedule while working hospital-based opportunities through a locally owned staffing team.

Active Virginia RN license and PCU experience are required, along with BLS/ACLS and TB testing within the past year. Vaccination or exemptions are accepted as per client policy.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience in the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
