Job summary

First Choice Nurses is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts throughout Hampton Roads, Virginia. Take control of your schedule with 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts and the freedom to choose when you work.

You’ll provide high-quality patient care, monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and collaborate with care teams in acute-care hospital environments. Active Virginia RN license and BLS/ACLS are required, with vaccination or approved exemption.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license and BLS/ACLS required.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test current within 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status documentation.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure safety.

Skills

Active Virginia RN License

2 years PCU nursing experience

AHA BLS

AHA ACLS

QuantiFERON-TB Gold test
