First Choice Nurses is actively hiring PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Earn competitive per diem pay and choose your own schedule, with options for daily or weekly payments.

RNs must hold a Virginia license with 2 years of recent PCU experience, BLS, ACLS, and tuberculin testing current. Shifts are 7a-7p or 7p-7a, offering flexible work-life balance and hospital-based opportunities.

Formación

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS
• Current AHA ACLS
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments
