First Choice Nurses is hiring PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia, including Hampton Roads. You can pick shifts 7a-7p or 7p-7a and enjoy the freedom to schedule around your life.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Active Virginia RN license.
• Current AHA BLS.
• Current AHA ACLS.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in status.
• Administer medications and IV therapies; follow orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Adhere to infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families about care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.
