First Choice Nurses is hiring PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You can pick shifts that fit your life, with 7a-7p and 7p-7a options. Active Virginia RN license and 2 years PCU experience required. Expect competitive per diem pay and flexible scheduling, with daily and weekly pay options.

Qualificações

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS
• Current AHA ACLS
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments
