First Choice Nurses is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Active Virginia RN license and 2+ years PCU experience required. Per diem pay and flexible scheduling offer the freedom to pick shifts that fit your life.

Shifts include 7a-7p and 7p-7a with options for daily or weekly pay, hospital-based opportunities, and a locally owned staffing team.

Formación

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS.
• Current AHA ACLS.
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments
