First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital opportunities throughout the Hampton Roads area in Virginia. Per diem shifts are available day and night, with the option to pick up occasional or fuller schedules ensuring flexibility.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN License is required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment for PCU patients.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and follow safety guidelines.
