First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced PCU Registered Nurse for per diem hospital assignments across the Hampton Roads area. Work the shifts you want, with day or night options and daily/weekly pay. Earn competitive per diem pay and enjoy flexible scheduling that fits your lifestyle.

Ideal candidates have an active Virginia RN license, at least 2 years of recent PCU experience, and current BLS/ACLS. Vaccination or approved exemption is required.

Qualificações

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current BLS - American Heart Association (AHA).
• Current ACLS - American Heart Association (AHA).
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and other specialized equipment for PCU patients.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Adapt professionally to different hospital environments and unit needs.

Conhecimentos

Active Virginia RN License

PCU nursing experience

BLS Certification

ACLS Certification
