Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in PCU, cardiac, telemetry, or critical care settings.
• Advanced skills in IV insertion, chest tube management, and tracheostomy.
• Ability to administer and titrate medications including Dopamine, Heparin, and Amiodarone.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highly individualized care to medical, cardiac, and surgical patients requiring intermediate care.
• Perform Q6H head-to-toe assessments and document each one fully.
• Participate in patient ambulation and ADLs using advanced technology for documentation.

Job Details

• Location: Chattanooga, TN (Zip: 37404)
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start Date: 06/02/2025 - End Date: 09/01/2025)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00-07:00)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1640 - $1680
  
  

Job Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience in PCU, cardiac, telemetry, or critical care settings
• Advanced skills in IV insertion, chest tube management, tracheostomy experience, CVC management, EKG, Foley management, and early patient mobility
  
  

Responsibilities

• Deliver highly individualized care to medical, cardiac, and surgical complex patients requiring intermediate care
• Perform Q6H head-to-toe assessments and document each one fully
• Administer and titrate medications such as Dopamine, Dobutrex, Nitro, Heparin, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Milrinone, Amiodarone, Cardene, Labetolol, Insulin, and Precedex
• Participate in patient ambulation and ADLs
• Utilize advanced technology including iMobile devices for communication and documentation
