Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center is seeking a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (PRN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The RN collaborates with providers for pre- and post-operative care, advocating for patients to ensure an exceptional experience.

In this role, you will assess patients on admission and across shifts, perform provider-ordered procedures, document care promptly, and monitor medication effects. Requires ACLS/BLS within specified timelines and an active RN license.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• ACLS within 1 year of start date.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• Nursing degree or RN Diploma (ADN preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and each shift, report changes.
• Perform procedures as ordered by medical provider.
• Document care in patient record promptly and accurately.
• Administer medications and monitor patient response.
