Job summary

AdventHealth Burleson, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide critical care support in a fast-paced unit. You will perform patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and document in the EMR. Collaboration with the health team and patient education are key responsibilities.

Requirements include valid RN license, Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred), and BLS certification. Day shift, full-time, on-site in Burleson, Texas.

Qualifications

• RN license required and active.
• Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Experience in critical care environment preferred.
• Strong documentation and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and determine care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on findings.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately per orders.
• Monitor responses and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and self-care.
• Document care activities accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
