Job summary

AdventHealth in Apopka, Florida, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Night shift team. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families to support health outcomes.

Eligible clinicians can grow through our Clinical Ladder, with salary adjustments based on experience, development, and advancement criteria. Florida background check applies; full-time position with 36 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• ASN required for licensure as Registered Nurse in Florida
• Current Florida or Multistate RN licensure
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 6 months RN experience
• Fluent in English (reading, speaking, writing)
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Ability to assess and revise care plans with clinical judgment

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed based on patient progress
• Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and protocols
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications and self-care strategies
