Job summary

Baptist Health South is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the PCU on full-time night shift. The ideal candidate will have Med/Surg, PCU or Critical Care experience and be eligible for a $3,750 sign-on bonus.

You will deliver patient care using the nursing process, educate patients and families, coordinate with physicians and ancillary services, and advocate for patients. Education: AS in Nursing required; BA/BS preferred; BLS and RN license required.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing is required or a BA/BS in Nursing is preferred.
• 1–2 years of Cardiac Experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of Telemetry Experience preferred.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients using the nursing process across medical, surgical, or other conditions.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other departments and with ancillary services.
• Advocate for the patient and participate in staff meetings and unit activities.
