PCU - MULTI TRAUMA - Registered Nurse - $1,799 per week

Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this exciting travel nursing assignment. Trusted has streamlined the travel nursing experience by enabling nurses to apply directly to jobs without the need for recruiters.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Progressive Care Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.
• 3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

Requirements

• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details

Required Skills/Experience: Ability to manage chest tubes, trauma patients, trachs, suction.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Place chest tube. Bedside bronch.

Types of Patients on Unit: Charge free of patients.

Equipment Used on Unit: Vents, Feeding Pumps, IV Pumps, Wound Vacs, Specialty beds, Suction, Chest Tubes.

Unit/Facility Details: PCU - Multi Trauma. Number of Beds - 20. Level 1 trauma center – trauma unit with highly complex and interesting patients. Estimated ratios, not guaranteed.
