Job summary

ChristianaCare, Union Hospital in Elkton, MD, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Day Shift - Part Time (12 hours per week) to support the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Typical shift is 7am - 7pm, every other weekend and holidays per department guidelines.

Requirements include BSN and at least one year of acute care experience. BLS is required; ACLS preferred and must be obtained within 3 months of hire. This role emphasizes collaborative patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• ADN candidates must commit to obtaining BSN within three years of hire.
• At least 1 year of acute care experience.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 3 months).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Collaborate with pharmacy, respiratory, intensivists, PAs and other team members.
• Support 12-hour day shifts (7am–7pm), every other weekend and holidays.
• Adhere to BLS/ACLS requirements and departmental guidelines.
