Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Tennessee is seeking a Progressive Care Unit RN for a float pool role. The Nurse will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and care teams.

The position requires active RN licensure, appropriate degrees, and certification in BCLS and CPR within 30 days of start date. You will support pre- and post-operative care and ensure safe medication administration across cardiac and medical-surgical floors.

Qualifications

• RN license required; must be in good standing.
• Educational background: Associate degree, Bachelor's degree, or RN diploma.
• BCLS and CPR certifications due within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
• Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
