Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an excellent patient experience.

In this position, you will work in a 25-bed Progressive Care/Telemetry Unit that primarily cares for patients with chest pain awaiting stress testing, cath labs, hypertensive urgency, CVA, TIA, altered mental status, sepsis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous BiPAP, and drips such as cardizem, amiodarone, heparin, lasix, protonix, and others.

What You Will Do in This Role

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

Qualifications Needed

• Registered Nurse
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), BCLS Instructor, or CPR certification within 30 days of employment
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire
• NIHSS Stroke Certification within 30 days of hire

Candidate must have previous Charge Nurse experience to be considered.
