Position Overview

As Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in our Emergency Department, overseeing clinical operations and staff during your designated shifts while maintaining our high standards of patient care excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate emergency department operations, ensuring efficient patient flow and quality care delivery
• Supervise nursing staff while providing direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Implement and maintain clinical protocols and evidence-based practices
• Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing mentorship and guidance
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols
• Coordinate patient education and discharge planning
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in Tennessee or compact state
• Minimum 2-3 years Emergency Department nursing experience
• Prior Charge Nurse experience
• Current BLS certification
• Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
  
  

Additional Requirements

• ACLS and PALS certification (required within 1 year)
• CPI certification (required within 6 months)
• Trauma experience (preferred)
