Trinity Health in Des Moines, IA is seeking a dedicated RN for the Progressive Care Unit Nights. This full-time position offers a 12-hour night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM and a 36-hour workweek, delivering high-quality nursing care across ages within a team-based model.

Qualifications

• Current or compact RN license issued/defined by the State of Iowa.
• 1 year of nursing experience required for the Day Shift.
• Mandatory Reporter training.
• Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certified within 6 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care.
• Practice safe patient handling techniques.
• Continuously evaluate assigned patients and provide ongoing treatment.
• Address educational and emotional needs of patients and families.
• Guide healthcare personnel in caring for patients.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment setup and use to maximize safety.
• Initiate emergency measures when needed.
