Job summary

Satellite Healthcare is seeking a purpose-driven team member to provide quality care to patients in a safe and professional environment. The PCT Trainee will be in training to learn how to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and to perform the hemodialysis treatment according to Satellite and local center policies.

The role covers taking and monitoring vital signs, performing blood tests, documenting patient information, preparing and monitoring dialysis

Qualifications

• One year of medical experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• BONENT/NNCC/NNCO certification within 18 months of hire date.
• CDPH CHT certification (CA locations only) within 18 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Learn to perform hemodialysis treatment according to policy.
• Take and monitor vital signs, perform blood tests, and document patient information.
• Prepare and monitor dialysis equipment and clean equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: One (1) year of medical experience preferred

Education: High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent

License/Certification

• Current CPR certification
• BONENT/NNCC/NNCO certification is required within 18 months from the hire date.
• CDPH CHT certification (for CA locations only) is required within 18 months from the hire date
