Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support ambulatory services in our North Fargo Clinic. The role includes rooming patients, taking vital signs, and assisting providers within a fast-paced clinic.

The ideal candidate has a GED or high school diploma, 6+ months of clinic experience, and may be CNA-certified with BLS. ND CNA requirements apply if not certified. We offer onboarding and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum of six months’ experience preferred; clinic setting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
• If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a CNA, must be registered as a Nursing Assistant (NA) through the ND Department of Health within four months from the date of initial employment.

Responsibilities

• Taking patient vital signs
• Rooming patients for providers
• Cleaning and stocking patient treatment rooms
• Assisting providers and nursing team as needed

Education
