Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for part-time shifts in the Emergency Department. The role involves patient-centered nursing care, vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities under RN/LPN supervision. Scheduling is Tue–Fri 11:00a–3:00p, with no weekends and opportunities for extra shifts.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and CNA is preferred. ND registry rules may apply for non-CNA candidates.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
• If ND resident and not CNA, must be on the North Dakota Nurse Aide Registry within four months of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient-centered nursing care during scheduled shift.
• Record vital statistics and basic health information.
• Assist with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting).
• Prepare treatment areas and assist with equipment; dispose of biomedical waste.
• Perform scheduling and documentation-related clerical tasks.
