Endeavor Health's Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Pulmonary Medicine Unit night shift. The 36-hour weekly schedule runs 6:30 pm to 7:00 am with rotating holidays and weekends.

CPR certification and CNA training or equivalent experience are required to deliver essential patient care under RN supervision. Responsibilities include performing care tasks, maintaining patient comfort and safety, and following unit procedures.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• 6 months of patient care experience or completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course
• Completion of a care companion course within six months of hire if required by department

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with patient care tasks and procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety
