Job summary

Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a patient care technician, nursing assistant or related field preferred.
• Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, perform routine patient care tasks and document care provided.
• Transport patients to treatment areas and assist in moving patients onto stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Provide dressing, showering, bathing and oral feeding assistance.
• Respond to patient calls and perform timely services; participate in hourly rounds and turning.
