Qualifications

• Ability to analyze data and troubleshoot technical problems from projects or experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to track data and present findings.
• Strong verbal and written communication to interface with cross-functional partners.

What you’ll do (Job Responsibilities)

• Support shop floor operations by identifying and resolving quality issues to ensure seamless production flow.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on non-conforming parts to prevent recurrence and improve overall product quality.
• Lead a technical project to integrate internal quality management systems with our supplier communication center.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and manufacturing, to drive process improvements.
• Assist in monitoring and reporting on supplier quality metrics to identify trends and areas for development.
• Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in coordination with suppliers.
• Document technical findings and process updates to maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Analyze data from quality systems to generate actionable insights for internal stakeholders.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Systems Engineering).
• Demonstrated ability to perform data analysis and troubleshoot complex technical problems through academic projects or prior relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to track data and create presentations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interface with cross-functional partners.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site at the facility full-time to support shop floor operations; this role does not involve travel.
• Must be willing and able to work in a manufacturing shop floor environment, including exposure to noise and industrial equipment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
