Job summary

Hilcorp Energy Company in Prudhoe Bay seeks a Production Control Room Operator to coordinate and control oil & gas production via SCADA with some DCS interaction. OP will monitor from wellhead to GC inlet across multiple consoles and interact with EOG and Valdez centers, under USW Local 4959.

The role requires extensive experience in north slope operations, 14/14 day shift patterns, and strong communication skills. Responsible for safety and process optimization opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical education preferred.
• Experience reading P&IDs and process flow diagrams.
• PSM Certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years as operator in Prudhoe Bay.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to company safety practices.
• Identify production optimization opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain operator certification and compliance training.
• Initiate work orders to restore/enhance production opportunities.
• Write and review work procedures and participate in safety programs.
• Be available 24 hours per day on call for emergencies.
