Job summary

Hilcorp in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, seeks a Production Control Room Operator to coordinate and control oil and gas production across Well Pads using SCADA and DCS systems. You will monitor from the PCC and interact with field operations to optimize performance.

The role requires 14/14 days, 12-hour shifts, safety certifications, and strong communication. Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to drive production improvements are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical associates preferred.
• Minimum 5 years as a fully qualified operator in Prudhoe Bay or PBW experience.
• Minimum 10 years North Slope Operations experience, PBW preferred (GC/Well Pads).
• Strong reading of P&ID and process flow diagrams (3+ years).
• Ability to work a 14 day on/14 day off, 12-hour shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safe practices.
• Identify production optimization problems and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain operator certification and compliance training.
• Initiate work orders for maintenance to enhance production opportunities.
• Write/review work procedures and participate in safety programs.
