Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect purchased components for spec compliance.
• Inspect PCBs for workmanship, revision, and dimensions.
• Verify quantities and part numbers against procurement data.
• Approve or reject items; document nonconformances.
• Prepare inspection procedures for reference in future inspections.

Salary: USD18 - USD21 per hour

PCBA QC Inspector

Location: Vista, CA

Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm

Pay: $18 - $21/hr

A contract manufacturer of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies and Box Builds is seeking a QC Inspector to join their team. They are certified ISO 13485 and AS 9100. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that incoming materials and components meet customer and company specifications by comparing received product to applicable specifications and drawings. Duties will also include final inspection of completed assemblies and generation of Certificates of Conformance for shipment to customers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Inspect purchased components to verify compliance with published specification
• Inspect bare printed circuit boards for workmanship, proper revision and dimensions
• Compare quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness of and accuracy of order
• Approve or reject items, and record inspection and document observed nonconformances
• Prepare inspection procedures for reference use in subsequent inspections.
• Examine final product to verify conformity with the acceptance criteria
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1 year of industry related experience and/or training
• Manufacturing experience is required
• Experience with hand gauges, calipers, and non-contact inspection equipment is required
• Ability to read drawings and schematics
