Job summary

Emerald Technologies is seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler in Brea, CA to plan, schedule, and coordinate the flow of materials and products within PCBA manufacturing. You will ensure on-time customer deliveries and optimize production performance in a fast-paced EMS environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in production planning, strong ERP/MRP proficiency, and excellent Excel skills. IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 familiarity is a plus. Competitive benefits and a collaborative team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of production planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience in electronics/manufacturing.
• Experience with PCBA processes and customer-driven delivery requirements.
• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems for managing work orders, schedules and inventory.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills; reporting and planning software know-how.
• IPC‑A‑610 and/or J‑STD‑001 familiarity or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to meet customer delivery requirements and priorities.
• Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Master Scheduler, and other teams to manage material availability and constraints.
• Use ERP/MRP to create, release, and manage manufacturing work orders and routing information.
• Monitor WIP, performance, and schedule adherence; communicate risks to on-time delivery.
• Coordinate movement and availability of materials, tooling, and documentation for schedules.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Analyze production flow and planning processes to optimize operations.
