JOB FUNCTION: As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and supporting PCBA production as part of the manufacturing line. This role involves using hand and power tools, following detailed work instructions, and ensuring accuracy and quality in all assembly processes. You will work closely with team members to meet production goals and may assist with additional tasks such as material handling, workstation setup, and supporting other manufacturing operations as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use hand and power tools, fixtures, and equipment to assemble mechanical components and units
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures to ensure product quality
  • Inspect chassis and components for cosmetic and functional defects prior to PCBA installation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and safety standards
  • Support team production goals and assist with related tasks as needed

SKILLS:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, assembly drawings, and manufacturing instructions
  • Accurate documentation and record-keeping
  • Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors and team members
  • Basic problem-solving skills and sound judgment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing standards such as ISO 9001, ESD, SPC, and IPC-A-610
  • Strong attention to detail and quality

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED equivalent and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

EXPERIENCE: 1–2 years of experience in a contract manufacturing or PCBA/SMT environment preferred

LANGUAGE: English proficiency is required, Mandarin or Vietnamese proficiency is a plus.
