Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for PCBA STARSHIELD in Hawthorne to design, implement, and optimize production lines for PCBA assemblies. You will collaborate with design and process teams to ensure scalable, reliable manufacturing and drive improvements across the line.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with SMT processes, process control, and manufacturing excellence in a fast-paced environment. Occasional travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 1+ years in manufacturing engineering, SMT, accelerated testing, hardware debug/triage, design for reliability, or PCB design/layout (school projects qualify).
• Experience with IPC manufacturing standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage PCBA manufacturing processes and PCBA products for in-house production.
• Drive processes for high-volume PCBA production and manage configuration and traceability.
