Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing PCBA hardware and performing debugging.
• Familiarity with mechanical drawings and IPC standards helpful.
• Ability to collect data from tests and compile findings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough electrical tests and troubleshooting to locate HW defects and identify potential issues.
• Accurately measure PCBA's components and systems to gather data.
• Carry out detailed visual inspections and dimensional analysis to detect faults.
• Perform mechanical tests to diagnose mechanical failures.
• Navigate internal systems to pull relevant historical data for analysis.
• Complete analysis within specified timeframes to speed up the process.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders (Failure Analysis Reports).
• Seek ways to improve inspection, testing and analysis processes.
